VLCD 11

So I am up a pound today.. I knew I would be. I deserve it so no shock or disappointment. When I have good losses I spend the whole day peeing every 20 minutes, when I drink enough water and don't pee every second I can tell my loss wont be as great. Here is to tomorrow!

VLCD 9 and 10

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't update, I have been so busy! Wed was a -0.2 loss :( I feel like this was because I didn't drink enough water since everything else was on protocol. I am on my second week and I have been expecting a slow because that is what typically happens in my second weeks but 0.2 come on!

I am down -1.8 today! Yesterday my friend asked my if I wanted coffee on my way to class I said yes but then she never asked me what I wanted, she brought me whats called a dirty Ivan- It looked like skim milk so that at least was not the end of the world but it had two shots of espresso and I am sure some type of syrup in it. I had to drink it because I said I wanted coffee so if I didn't that would have been rude, was kinda stuck! I had my greek yogurt with fresh strawberries between classes. I like eating this between classes but this would be my normal P3  breakfast so to know I don't really get lunch as well is psychologically hard. I had some steamed broccoli when I got home before running back to campus to take a test.

Dinner I was not so good. I went out to an Irish Pub with friends, on past rounds I have ordered the corned beef and cabbage with no problem so I love having 1 place I can go and eat with friends while on P2! I ordered Irish coffee because I was so exhausted and new the night was not going to end soon since we were out for a friends birthday- I should of told them no whip cream, that was my fault the coffee came with a huge layer of thick cream on top which I tried to drink around. The rest of the night I drank Rum and diet coke which has also proven to be P2 safe for me in the past. I really slipped up later in the night when I was already slightly tipsy  and someone ordered a round of Irish car-bombs for the table. Once it was sitting in front of me I couldnt refuse it so bottoms up! Ha it is kinda funny I forget that when I stop drinking for P2 my tolerance is not what it used to be!!

It was great to be out and enjoying myself with my friends but I know payback is coming! I was really surprised by my loss today so I am expecting a small loss tomorrow if anything at all! 11 more days left, I can do this!

I love the Greek! VLCD8

I can breath easy knowing that I have a new go to on long campus days! -1.8!! I was worried I wouldn't lose at all so this was a wonderful surprise today! 150's here I come!
Yesterday was greek yogurt between classes, an apple, melba toast, and cooked spinach when I got home. Then chicken meatballs and a cucumber for dinner with an orange for dessert.

Redemption and going rouge! VLCD7

-1.0! 1 week down already!

I was comparing notes from previous rounds and I am almost exactly where I was at the end of round 2 week1: 161.4 Today I am at 161.8. Now my LDW for round 2 was 160.2 so that gives you an idea about how the rest of that round went! I only gained 4#'s of it back so I feel like I did pretty well but this is my redemption for round 2!

So I mentioned that I went a little rouge on Friday, as noted by my loss of 0.4 it obviously did not work! This diet is so specific and deviation does not work out so well. On Friday I was on campus all day long and a meeting I attended had a tray of subway party sandwiches. I ate the turkey out of one sandwich with  lettuce, tomato, and one bite of the bread. I counted this, plus the apple I had for breakfast, as my lunch. I knew that one meal rouge was bad enough but when my best friend that I hadn't seen all week wanted to do dinner  I couldnt turn her down! We went to Panera where I had a bowl of tomato vegetable soup and an apple. I still had a small loss and no stall so this wasn't the worst decision but obviously not suitable alternates to dried chicken breast and cabbage!

Today I tried a little experiment and I am interested to see how it works out. I have read on the forums that someone else has tried or toyed with the idea of trying 0% greek yogurt as a protein, so today I decided to try it! I have an extremely long day on campus on Monday and Wednesdays with no refrigerator or good way to store food but there is a grocery store across the street from the college. I went to just get an apple but when my friend went for the yogurt I thought what the heck I will give it a try! If this works it may be my go to on long campus days, I am a little nervous to see what tomorrow will bring!

Weekend Recap VLVD 5&6

Sat -0.4 Sunday -1.2! I went a little rouge on Friday which explains the the small loss on Saturday. I have been a model p2 citizen on Saturday and Sunday despite social pressures. That is my problem with this diet, it is really hard to come up with excuses why I am not eating or drinking when out with friends.

VLCD 4

I should be doing homework but I decided it was time to do some sprucing up of the old blog! I am feeling a little better today, still snifflely and overall gross but better! I am -1 today!

Is it greedy to feel like I should have a bigger loss this early in the game? Could be part of being sick but I am a little curious about the chicken sausage I had for dinner last night. The only ingredients in it is chicken, spinach, and garlic- it is all natural and has no casing. I know it was going a little rouge but I figured it was about the same as ground chicken and so yummy pan fried in a touch of chicken stock!

R3VLCD 3

Very low calorie is in full swing! I had a dream last night about smearing chocolate cake on a melba toast...
Down -2.4 today! I had a feeling a good loss was coming, I sure peed enough yesterday! I had classes from 8am-noon yesterday and then a break until my test at 3:30, I would have liked to stay on campus and studied but I drove home to have lunch. That is my one problem I have with this diet, eating on the run is nearly impossible! I had an apple for breakfast, mini meatloaf for lunch, grilled chicken with a touch of balsamic vinaigrette, and 2 roasted roma tomatoes with basil, and a grapefruit . I had never thought of roasting the tomatoes before but they were delish and supper easy! Slice in half, top with garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh basil, pop in oven for 30 minutes at 400 and enjoy!

The bad news is today I woke up with a cold :( I am drinking a lot of tea and having grapefruit as my fruit, any suggestions on anything else I can do? I am afraid to take anything, I stop taking my vitamins during P2 so that probably isn't helpful.

R3 VLCD 2

Down -1.4 today, I am surprised I am down anything since I feel like a blimp! I normally wear between a 6 and an 8 in pants but today I am wearing my 10's! Thank you TOM! I also don't know how accurate that is because my roommate was in the bathroom this morning.... during my shower time! So by the time she finished I had to wash my face and run out the door. I was a little pissed, I really could of used a shower today! I didn't weigh until 1pm after I had eaten an apple and drank my water and coffee.. I guess I will just have to see what tomorrow brings!

On the menu yesterday was 6 strawberries, a mini meatloaf made with 4% ground beef and melba toast, "chicken nuggets" 100g of chicken baked with melba toast, steamed cabbage, an apple, and chai tea with 1tbs of milk.

I'm back!

Sitting here drinking water and trying to decide if I want an apple or strawberries, yep P2 has officially begun! I am actually a little excited, I need to clean up my diet and get down closer if not a little below goal weight. This is technically my third round but my last round was a completely disaster full of medical problems and cheats, I think I lost 4 pounds the whole round! Refrigerator stocked with apples chicken and cabbage, lets do this!
